Avoid using polishes that contain wax on the wood furniture (it is wood veneer, so the wax will just make it cloudy). Just use a light cleaning agent. Thanks!

Don’t really need to clean dishes either. I wouldn’t imagine anyway, unless something is randomly around the house.
